HockeyStop
Design Approach
HockeyStop is a skate sharpening shop, so the design needed to feel fast and sporty while making a technical service easy to understand. The logo is a chunky black and yellow H and S tucked together like a jersey number.
The in-store display makes sharpening jargon scannable: tiered memberships and prices, a simple glide-to-bite scale for radius of hollow, and small skate illustrations for contouring, with yellow guiding the eye.
